Writers' Showcase Sites

The following sites allow you to showcase your work free of charge and, in addition to exposure, some of them allow you the opportunity to earn some cash, although you will certainly not get rich!  The rate varies and is based upon how many members read and rate your work.

Ideamarketers  Personally, this is one of my favourite sites, purely from the exposure that your articles receive from thousands of webmasters and editors of popular ezines.  I have had many articles publishes as a result of showcasing my work here.  Ideamarketers is the perfect forum for both new and published writers and also offers the opportunity to promote your books free of charge.

Whim's Place  Whim's Place provides a "showcase for the work of talented writers and discriminating readers".  Whim's Place is the creation of Betsy Gallup, a thirty-something wife and mother.  It started out as a personal website, but as her skill and her portfolio has grown, so has the site.  Now, it is slowly transforming into a showcase for talented writers. Whim's Place is devoted to both the fiction and non-fiction writer and reader.

Top Write Corner  Edited and published by Elvis D'Silva,
Topwritecorner.com is dedicated to promoting web literature by providing a showcase for aspiring authors, essayists and poets.

Zinos  Zinos focuses on gathering the best writings from the many eZines on the web and directly from writers who wish to submit and showcase their work.  Another of my favourites.

Rosedog "Working to get writers noticed".  RoseDog is a showcase for writers and is currently the largest repository of unpublished work for sale on the Internet. It is a place where writers can submit their work and where agents and publishers come to find new talent.  Rosedog will also create a personalised banner for you, free of charge.  All you have to do is to e-mail them a photo of yourself.

Zongoo  Zongoo!.com is a portal to share your content and find content that other people have written.  We'll create for writers their own subdomain like
http://you.zongoo.com. We'll create page just about that writer which will appear in "Featured authors" category. Share your comments on articles (every comment
will have link back to your site).

"It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."

Mark Twain (1835 - 1910)

"The people who oppose your ideas are inevitably those who represent the established order that your ideas will upset."
